These Terms & Conditions govern your use of towels.irish and any purchase you make from Towel Company Ireland (a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, "we", "us" or "our"). By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Use of the website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only, and you confirm you are 18 or over, or are using it with a parent or guardian. You agree that you will not:

• Use the site in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or interfere with the site's operation or security.
• Copy, reproduce or redistribute our content (text, images, branding and design) for commercial use without our written permission.
• Submit false information or impersonate any person or entity.

All content on this website, including the Towel Company Ireland name, logo, product imagery and copy, is our property or that of our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Products and descriptions

We take care to describe our products accurately, including materials and dimensions. Product photos are for illustration; colours can look different on different screens, and towel sizes can vary slightly between batches and after washing. Where a listing does not state something, such as a certification or a technical figure, we do not claim it.

Pricing

All prices are shown in euro. No VAT or other tax is added at the checkout, so the price shown is the price you pay, plus any delivery charge shown in your basket before you pay. We make every effort to ensure prices are correct at the time of publishing. If we discover an error in the price of an order you have placed, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price before dispatching, and you can cancel at no cost.

Orders

• Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed once we confirm and dispatch your order.
• We may refuse or cancel an order, for example where stock is unavailable or where we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund you in full.
• You are responsible for giving us accurate delivery and contact details. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect information.

Payment and security

Payment is taken at checkout by card through Stripe, or through PayPal. We do not see or store your full card details. Your order is processed once payment is authorised.

Delivery, returns and cancellations

Delivery times and charges, and the full return and refund conditions, are set out on our Shipping and Refunds & Returns pages, which form part of these terms. As a consumer buying online you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order under Irish and EU law, as explained on the refunds page.

Our responsibility to you

Goods we sell must be of merchantable quality, fit for their purpose and as described, and if they are not you are entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2022. Nothing in these terms limits those rights or any other right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or for business losses (the website and our products are for personal use). We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

We try to keep the website available and accurate, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you live in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
